I had no idea you came from Manchester!
Happy Bikeday, Bill!

5 miles on a bicycle will change any one's view for the better. May you have many more miles to ride.

Happy Birthday----- Bicycle Bill!
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Thanks, everybody. Between you guys and my coworkers at my new job, this was probably the best birthday I've had in the last five or six years.
And if that doesn't give you some idea of just how pathetic my life is, nothing will.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Sorry I’m late! (But now it’s the best birthday EVAH! )

Happy birthday, BB! (I'm working on the theory that a day late is better than never.)

Re: Gee, November Is A Birthday Palooza Month...
Gee, thanks, you guys.
Not one of my better birthdays. Got up and had to brush an inch or so of cold wet white stuff off the car, then go to work — and of course, got there late because while I'm able to remember from one year to another how to drive in winter conditions, it seems no one else can, so I ended up stuck behind someone who was pussy-footing along at about ten MPH under the posted speed limit .... on a freshly-plowed road.
Then I had an appointment/date to meet a female co-worker whom I wouldn't mind seeing more of at a Mexican restaurant after work for dinner (Wed is one of her days off, so she wasn't at work today), but ended up with a call that kept me a half-hour past my scheduled quitting time.... so I was running late to meet for the dinner date. But that didn't matter, because just before I got into the car about to break every speed limit between work and the restaurant I checked my phone to find out she'd left a voicemail to say that she was feeling under the weather and had begged off. So I ended up at a pizza buffet here in town where at least they comp you the buffet on your birthday, and then had a couple of adult beverages at a couple of my usual haunts (where the bartenders also comped me my second drink).
And then, once I finally got home, I see here what you-all did. So I guess it turned out OK after all.
At least I've got Thanksgiving off.
