GAH!

But fortunately for Harry, not his chin...those noses are basically identical.

Not his proudest moment...
I believe it was shortly after that bit of ignorant juvenile stupidity that The Prince entered military service...
(Where he grew up and served with distinction, being involved in a number of front line operations in Afghanistan.)

I love that she's from a typical trashy American family with two bankrupt parents and problematic siblings and he's marrying her anyway; clearly Diana's rebellious spirit rubbed off in a big way.
I would like to like Ms. Markle, but I don't understand why, with $44 million between them, she couldn't afford to transport her older rescue dog to the U.K. by some other means if flying would be too traumatic. I believe boats cross the Atlantic on a regular basis, no? Shit, if they'll pay me, I'll board as a passenger on a cargo ship and love on that dog through stormy and pleasant weather alike - though I'd much prefer a Norweigan or other cruise line trip. Seriously, I think a Prince can work this out if she wanted it badly enough.
Poor Bogart.

He looks more like Charles, Philip, and his uncle Spencer than the odious Hewitt.
Plus, it’s impossible given the timing. Harry was born on September 15, 1984, which means he was conceived around Christmas 1983. Supposedly, Diana did not meet James Hewitt until the summer of 1986.

There is nothing ‘supposed’ about it; Diana didn’t even meet Hewitt until Harry was a toddler. He looks like his uncle as far as Spencer ginger, and he looks a great deal like his father Charles in many other ways - his nose and other features of his face aren’t congruent with being a relation of Hewitt’s any more than all of us from the U.K. are cousins.
Harry’s parentage is only in question among small-minded gossipy types - which apparently includes you, Gob. You of all people I’d think would be a bit more sensitive on the subject?

Their affair, which is admitted, was only said BY THEM to have commenced when Harry was born.

But what was Diana doing in Germany in 1990/91? Enquiring minds want to know...
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: American Divorcée Set to Join The Royal Family...
"Odious" Hewitt, Guin? Was Diana odious as well for having participated in the affair?
Personally, if I were Harry, so long as I could keep the inheritance. I think I'd like the psychological out of thinking someone other than Charles was my "real" father. And as for me, I don't care who his father (or mother for that matter) is or is not.

Re: American Divorcée Set to Join The Royal Family...
Big RR, you really think I would blame Diana for the affair? I could care less about it. I referred to Hewitt as “odious” because of his behavior in trying to cash in on it, particularly after she died. His behavior in trying to sell old love letters was classless and gross.
Only Diana, and possibly Hewett and Charles know the truth. It’s irrelevant though. Charles is Harry’s father in every way that matters, even if he wasn’t the sperm donor (and I’m not conceding he is not). Raising those boys to be decent men is one of the few things he has done right and well in his sad little life. It’s cruel to take that away from him.

Guin, sure he cashed in on it, but then only after he was dragged through the mud by the tabloids (at least as I recall)--I really can't blame him all that much.
As for Charles, I honestly don't know how active a dad he was, so I'll refrain from saying much more other than saying he seems more like a self centered jerk than a dad. If he overcame that and raised his sons, good for him.

Hewitt’s military records establish that he wasn’t in the Princess’s sphere until Harry was already a toddler.
Charles went out of his way to address the issue with Harry when he was a young man because of the cruel speculation in the tabloid press and among fucked up people who should probably focus on worrying about their own parentage and not perpetuate cruel and foolish rumors about the parentage of others.
Bullying of that nature is perverse, whether done to someone’s face or out in the inter webs.

I recall that when Gorsuch was nominated for SCOTUS, I told you that I had met his mother once when she ran the EPA during some of the Reagan years, which made me feel old. At the risk of being accused of name-dropping, I met Harry's great grandfather several times in the sixties - not George VI but the 6th Earl Spencer. He was Chairman of the Governors of the school I was at and I have several books signed by him. I really feel fucking old now.
