"Mansplaining"????

Post by Joe Guy »

San Francisco's sfgate online news is free and it's still overpriced, but that's only part of my rant. This article's headline (and the article itself) demonstrates how ridiculous people have become in this world of victims.

First of all, if it weren't for the 'Mansplaining' headline, I wouldn't have read the stupid article. Who wrote that headline? Here's a clue: I doubt it was a male.

Regarding Louis CK's recent weirdness, Matt Damon said, “I don’t imagine he’s going to do those things again. You know what I mean? I imagine the price that he’s paid at this point is so beyond anything.”

So Minnie Driver leaps up and screams, "“It seems to me that he thinks that because he didn’t rape somebody — so far as we know — that what he did do wasn’t as bad.”

Could someone Womensplain to me how Louis CK wagging his wiener in front of a group of women is as bad as raping all of them?

Is Louis CK a mass rapist? Have all those people who have exposed themselves in public committed an offense that is as brutal and traumatizing as rape? Should they all be imprisoned for life?

The War on Men has got to stop now! Any man who doesn't publicly cry and sympathize with all women who are affected by traumatic events that have happened to somebody else is a stupid uncaring neanderthal who doesn't understand what it's like to be a woman.

Well guess what..? Women don't even understand women! They're always saying things like, "What a bitch!", "She thinks she's all that", "She can wear something like that because she is a size .05", "She's beautiful. I hate her!" and "I hate the way she acts like she's so entitled!"

As you can see, the word "Mansplain" has really hurt my feelings. I feel like women just don't understand how difficult it is to be a man in today's world. Men have been categorized as crude and thoughtless by all women based on the fact that we're the same sex as some people who have committed crimes against women. I feel as if the only safe thing to do is avoid interacting with women unless there are two or more witnesses present. I haven't figured out yet how to deal with being alone with one of them. Maybe I need to record and post on YouTube everything that happens when I'm with any woman and nobody else is around.

Once again, as it has been all my life, I'm a helpless victim of simply being born a male in a woman's world. They just don't get it. They think we're all heartless predators without feelings. Women don't realize how all men's inner child has been severely traumatized by females constantly criticizing them.

I feel so violated. I cry for all man kinds.

"Mansplaining"????

Where will it all stop... and should it?

There will come a point that no one will listen nor hear any longer.
MANEATER -- Hall & Oates

She'll only come out at night
The lean and hungry type
Nothing is new, I've seen her here before
Watching and waiting
Ooh, she's sitting with you but her eyes are on the door
So many have paid to see
What you think you're getting for free
The woman is wild, a she-cat tamed by the purr of a Jaguar
Money's the matter
If you're in it for love
You ain't gonna get too far
Watch out boy she'll chew you up
(Oh here she comes)
She's a maneater
(Oh here she comes)
Watch out boy she'll chew you up
(Oh here she comes)
She's a maneater
I wouldn't if I were you
I know what she can do
She's deadly man, she could really rip your world apart
Mind over matter
Ooh, the beauty is there but a beast is in the heart
Watch out boy she'll chew you up
(Oh here she comes)
She's a maneater
(Oh here she comes)
Watch out boy she'll chew you up
(Oh here she comes)
She's a maneater
Ooh,
Oh here she comes
Here she comes
Watch out boy she'll chew you up
Whoa here she comes
(Watch out)
She's a maneater
Oh here she comes
(She's a maneater)
Ooh, she'll chew you up
(Oh here she comes)
Here she comes, she's a maneater
(Oh here she comes)
(Watch out)
She'll only come out at night, ooh
(Oh here she comes)
Here she comes
She's a maneater
(Oh here she comes)
(She's a maneater)
The woman is wild ooh
(Oh here she comes)
Here she comes
Watch out boy, watch out boy
(Oh here she comes)
Oh, watch out, watch out, watch out, watch out
(Oh here she's comes)
Yeah yeah she's a maneater
(Oh here she comes)
(She's a maneater)
She's watching and waiting ooh
(Oh here she comes)
Oh she's a maneater

Hall & Oates had it right. They also sang "Because Your Cyst is on My Lips". A classic.

Why can't a woman be more like a man?

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Tell me about it -- I have a 27 year old daughter.

She sacrifices her pride and dignity and comes down to my level when we're together.

If she had been born a boy "he'd" still be playing with Legos and Xbox games.

mansplain

PRONUNCIATION:
(MAN-splayn)

MEANING:
verb tr.: To explain something, especially to a woman, in a condescending manner assuming ignorance on the part of the person spoken to, while the reverse is often true.

ETYMOLOGY:
A blend of man + explain, from Latin explanare (to make level), from ex- (intensive prefix) + planus (level, flat, plain). Earliest documented use: 2008.

NOTES:
Mansplaining brings to mind what Bertrand Russell once said: “The fundamental cause of the trouble in the modern world today is that the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.” The canonical example of mansplaining is when, at a party, a man learns that a woman has written a book on the photographer Eadweard Muybridge. He cuts her short and starts explaining to her about an important book that came out on the photographer that year, not knowing that he was talking to the author of that very book.

USAGE:
“The way Ireland sees it, male attitudes to women are akin to the rest of the UK’s attitude to Northern Ireland. They listen but don’t hear, brutalise but plead innocence, call for conversation but merely mansplain.”
Mark Fisher; Ulster American Review; The Guardian (London, UK); Aug 7, 2018.

A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Don't ask me who's influenced me. A lion is made up of the lambs he's digested, and I've been reading all my life. -Giorgos Seferis, writer, diplomat, Nobel laureate (13 Mar 1900-1971)
