No - but thanks very much for informing me of a movie I didn’t know existed and look forward to watching!Scooter wrote:Iron Jawed Angels?

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Nope & nope . . . but my movie is set in the same era.

Do I really have to provide another quote? How about if I provide the further hint that the quote I posted Monday is from a film depicting events from the life and work of the individual honored Monday - will that help?

Re: Name That Movie!
Should be easy for anyone who saw it and/or read the book...
I met a girl in a bar.
She wanted me to buy her drinks, so I bought her some. Then after a while, she wanted to come home with me, but I made a mistake.
I smiled at her.

Lola
The Kinks
I met her in a club down in North Soho
Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry cola
See-O-L-A cola.
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance.
I asked her name and in a dark brown voice she said, "Lola"
L-O-L-A Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well, I'm not the world's most physical guy,
But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well, I'm not dumb but I can't understand
Why she walk like a woman and talk like a man
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well, we drank champagne and danced all night,
Under electric candlelight,
She picked me up and sat me on her knee,
And said, "Little boy won't you come home with me?"
Well, I'm not the world's most passionate guy,
But when…
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

It's fairly clear to me that Joe looked it up and/or already knew. But no correct guesses, obviously.

Re: Name That Movie!
I got it from the last quote (though I suspect the quote might be from the book [by Farley Mowat - which I also read, years before the movie]...I seem to remember that in the movie the guy's territory-marking circle was fueled by beer, not tea).

Yes. I think it came from the movie- I remember the scene, but I pulled the quote off a complete transcript of the movie.
