This sounds more like something from the Borowitz Report in the "New Yorker", but it actually is on the level.  The Guggenheim *DOES* really have a toilet cast in 18K gold and installed as "interactive art" in (what I can only hope is) a 'one-holer' restroom on the fifth floor and available for use by the public; and they *DID* offer it on long-term loan to Trump — along with "all the instructions for its installation and care", and with the artist's permission yet! — as the Presidential Throne in lieu of the aforementioned van Gogh.

A classier version of the "standard" New York counter offers, which I understand to be 1) "Fuggeddaboudit," and 2) "Howsabout youse go fuckyerself?"

From today's Guardian
UN ambassador Nikki Haley says rumors of affair with Trump are 'disgusting'
Yup, I'd go along with that.

Is THAT who he’s currently pawing? Michael Wolfe says if you read between the lines in the last part of his book he alluded to which woman Trump is currently bagging.

I can’t imagine anyone lying down with him, he’s so gross.

I don't buy this for a second...by Wolfe's own admission he has zero proof, and it just doesn't ring true...

I liked Haley's response; she took this sleazy attack head on:
Haley addresses 'disgusting' rumor: Some people 'try and throw arrows' when you speak your mind

Washington (CNN)US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley says a rumor sparked by "Fire and Fury" author Michael Wolff is "disgusting" and illustrates the kinds of accusations women in the workplace face.

"It is absolutely not true," Haley told Politico's podcast "Women Rule," which aired Thursday. She was referring to a rumor that she has carried on an affair with President Donald Trump, which has not been verified by CNN.
Haley argued that the rumor speaks to a larger issue that women in power face in the workplace.

"But it goes to a bigger issue that we need to always be conscious of. At every point in my life, I've noticed that if you speak your mind and you're strong about it and you say what you believe, there is a small percentage of people that resent that," Haley said. "And the way they deal with it is to try and throw arrows -- lies or not -- to diminish you."

Haley, who was South Carolina's first female governor before taking a role in the administration, said she has had to weather similar attacks and salacious rumors throughout her career in politics.

"This isn't something that's just happened as a Cabinet member: I saw this as a legislator, I saw this when I was governor, I see it now, I see them do it to other women," Haley said.
Haley said that the attacks don't deter her from doing her work.

"Do I like it? No. Is it right? No. Is it going to slow me down? Not at all," Haley said. "Any time this has happened, it only makes me fight harder, it only makes me work harder. And I do it for the sake of other women that are behind me."

The rumor she now faces is being fueled by Wolff, who teased in an interview with Bill Maher last week that his book contained a clue as to someone with whom Trump was having an affair. Wolff said he was "absolutely sure" the claim was true but it is "so incendiary that I just didn't have the ultimate proof."[I call bullshit. What does he mean by, he's "absolutely sure" but he doesn't have proof? Was he hiding behind a curtain on Air Force One while this was going on? Wolfe is slinging this smear to juice his book sales now that the initial wave of publicity has died down, plain and simple.]

A line in the book that says Trump has been spending "a notable amount of private time with Haley" on Air Force One led readers to speculate online it was her.

Haley, however, told Politico she has only been on Air Force One "once and there were several people in the room when I was there."

She added, "I've never talked once to the President about my future and I am never alone with him."[Probably a prudent policy for any woman to follow when it comes to Donald Trump.]

Trump has slammed "Fire and Fury" as "phony" and the White House called it a "book full of lies."

Also a prudent policy for any man (or any living being of any gender or species) Given the state of modern technology, I am surprised there have not been surreptitious recordings of meetings at the white house leaked.

So far in a few days more than one year, Trump has brought us a total solar eclipse and a super blood blue moon lunar eclipse. In eight years Obama accomplished neither of those. I rest my case.

Bullshit, xKA — I'm the person who did that.  It's just that I didn't make a big deal out of it, so Drumpf jumped in and hogged the credit.

And the sound of the bell today at the close Wall Street Stock Exchange marked another great landmark for POTUS. The Dow marked a wonderful one day record.--biggest one day drop since June of 2016. Another beautiful achievement for our POTUS.

The one Republican on the House Intel Committee to actually read the FISA warrant application that the Nunes memo was based on (Nunes himself never has) doesn't seem to share Trump's end zone celebration exuberance about "vindication":
Gowdy: Memo has no impact on Russia probe

Washington (CNN)South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy said the recently released, controversial GOP memo alleging FBI abuses of its surveillance authority does not have "any impact on the Russia probe," and even without the Steele dossier, there would be a Russia investigation.

"There is a Russia investigation without a dossier," Gowdy said in an interview that aired Sunday on CBS's "Face the Nation," days after he announced his decision not to seek re-election.

President Donald Trump authorized the release of the memo from the House Intelligence Committee on Friday, and has since claimed it "totally vindicates" him in the ongoing investigation around allegations of possible coordination between his associates and Russia to influence the 2016 election.

Gowdy, however, said he believes the memo does not affect the Russia investigation and has no connection to key storylines about the matter.

"To the extent the memo deals with the dossier and the FISA process, the dossier has nothing to do with the meeting at Trump Tower," Gowdy said. "The dossier has nothing to do with an email sent by Cambridge Analytica. The dossier really has nothing to do with George Papadopoulos' meeting in Great Britain. It also doesn't have anything to do with obstruction of justice."

Gowdy also reaffirmed his support for former FBI Director Robert Mueller's leadership of the special counsel probe, saying he supports Mueller "100 percent," and that he would not "prejudge" Mueller's investigation, despite having seen "no evidence of collusion."
