Stars two very well known actors, (one of whom has been featured in other movies in this thread recently.)A: Some of the things they do, uh, defy belief. Their training program is simplicity itself. You just stick a cattle prod up their ass and you can get a horse to deal cards.
[Chuckles]
A: Simple matter of voltage.

I don't know why, but somehow it gets me thinking of Alabama.

Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave!
And if a man starts to weaken,
That's a shame!
For 'Bama's pluck and grit
Have writ her name in Crimson flame!
Fight on, fight on, fight on, men!
Remember the Rose Bowl we'll win then!

Roll Tide, Big RR...
A: Speaking of horses did you ever see those Lipizzaner stallions.
B: What?
A: From Portugal. The Lipizzaner stallions. The most highly trained horses in the world. They're all white?
B: Yes, sir.
A: "Yes, sir" you're aware they're all white or "Yes, sir" you've seen them?
B: Yes, sir I've seen them. Yes, sir I was aware that they're are all white. They are not from Portugal; they're from Spain and at birth, they're not white; they're black. Sir.
A: I didn't know that. But they are from Portugal.

PLEASE, Please, please... Name That Movie!
All white horses? Then it must be...

One of my favorites to re-watch...
Tautly crafted suspense and superb foil chemistry between Washington and Hackman...

(Voiceover)
This man is like any other policeman anywhere in the country.
He works hard and takes pride in serving people.
Yes, he's a policeman just like any other.
Except for one thing. He... is blind.

I recall a TV show about a blind detective, Longstreet. That was back when detectives had to have some disability--Cannon was fat, Longstreet was blind, Ironside was in a wheelchair, Kojak was bald, Columbo was retarded...

Re: Name That Movie!
or phat-sensei? I had a week-long trip to Japan in the early 80's and anytime I turned on the TV, there was one working station and it had endless reruns of Cannon, dubbed in Japanese. Good thing I brought along plenty of reading material.Big RR wrote:Cannon was fat

Nobody is closer to power then the press secretary for the president. But it is never fully yours, it's dangling in front of you. Mocking your very existence. I WILL NOT BE MOCKED ANY LONGER
