One of the things I love most about the streaming phenomenon is that we now have access to TV from all over the globe - it’s fascinating watching series set in other countries, a glimpse into the settings and culture of countries I’ll probably never get to see in person.
As far as TV goes, I haven’t been a huge fan of Australian shows - I’ve watched plenty, but have generally found them to be a step below UK, US and Scandinavian fare in terms of quality. But this show just released on Netflix is terrific - I’m only on episode 3 so I might be jumping the gun not knowing how it will wrap up - but so far it’s a complete package of excellent acting, cinematography, writing, etc. Worth a look!
It stars Anna Torv of Fringe fame; she’s fantastic all on her own and is really compelling in this series.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
