Time Capsule

Post by Bicycle Bill »

Maybe I've been concentrating on too much serious shit at work and elsewhere, but this little bit of fluff news struck me as hugely funny.
The writing was on the wall when a California couple decided to renovate their bathroom.  Twitter user Alex Monney and his wife, Jessica, said a contractor doing demolition of their home's bathroom discovered messages and pictures left in their wall by a couple who had lived there in the 1990s.  The home appeared to be located in San Jose, according to Mooney's tweet.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

I never found toilet humor to be particularly funny.

I give this one chuckle.

You're much too critical, RayThom. It would be a humorous thing to discover when remodeling a bathroom. I give it 3 flushes.

They had a similar thing happen on an episode of Fixer Upper. In the above case, the message leaver likely had no clue that this internet thing, circa 1995, would turn into an instant fame device.
