Anyone care to take a look at the proportion of males to females here (among active posters)? Or count the HRC supporters? But no, I do not believe wearing a Trump shirt is any more dangerous than wearing an HRC shirt, or a Ronald Reagan shirt, or a George Washington shirt.

Me, in central Missouri I always got catfish and carp on my trotlines. I just pity the ignorance of those who think neither of those fish could ever be good eating.

wes--if you want to stand your ground, stand your ground proudly. Just because I disagree with a person and believe they're absolutely wrong doesn't mean I think less of them or that they're stupid. And most of us have, at one time or another, been up against 10 (or even more) people here.
But one thing I will suggest, if you want to avoid unpleasantness is responses, avoid it in your response (like your rant against lawyers, e.g.); most of the time I couldn't care less, but others have a lower threshold than I do--and even my threshold has been exceeded by some at times.

oh my.....
I ve caught carp the size of german shepherds....., never eaten one tho... the water is too dirty where I catch them........
got my trotline all set up.
made a wire mesh net for my old crab net....
bought a clearance floaty noodle at Walmart for 2.85....., and fashioned a float ring for my old pump bucket, with the holes drilled in it....
all told I ve got 5 bucks in cotton rope, 3 bucks for the floaty in it....
some old length of chain for weights, some old galv garden wire, a couple of old bleach bottles for floats learned a couple of new knots....
... and I m all set . I think....
up at 3:45....
