I don't actually think he was ever in the habit of grabbing women by the genitals. I think that he wanted us to believe that he was the sort of person who could do so and get away with it. Our resident cheerleader for sexual predators did in fact link to a letter purported to be from an ex-bf of Dr. Ford. What that says to me is that adds at least two more names to a list of witnesses that should testify at additional hearings - the alleged ex-bf and the alleged friend of Dr. Ford who allegedly took the alleged polygraph with which Ford is alleged to have helped her.

That is of course added to a list that should include - every person named in Kavanaugh's calendars, every roommate he ever had, every member of every sports team he ever played for, everyone who attended Georgetown Prep and Yale while he was a student there, everyone who ever worked with him, etc., etc. The hearings on his confirmation should be done sometime around 2045.

At this point I believe Kavanaugh is disqualified alone by his performance on Thursday at the SJC hearing, whatever the truth of his sexual proclivities in high school - which from the letter in his own handwriting seem to have been very much not what he alleged in his FOX News interview.

Frankly he now comes off as an entitled prep boy scumbag, and I have no doubt he lied entirely about his experience in Judge Kozinski’s chambers and beyond.

I really, really pity his wife and daughters. I have a feeling his wife just found out things about him - aside from his alleged actions sexually assaulting Ford and Ramirez - that are entirely out of keeping with the fairytale he spun her while they were courting.

The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman noted the crowd at the “Make America Great Again” rally revived its “lock her up” chant for Dr. Ford.

It’s on Haberman’s Twitter feed, but I can’t get the tweet itself to copy/paste here - go look it up.

I don’t think Trump INITIATED the chant, but it’s a distinction without a difference because he ridiculed her extensively and suggested her behavior in reporting her assault was destroying Kavanaugh’s life & family.

BSG--I was no supporter of him before, but I agree this should disqualify him, regardless of the outcome of the investigation. No one who come up with such drivel stated with such conviction (the revenge of the Clintons?) should be a judge at all, let alone a Supreme Court Justice. That it likely won't, disturbs me--but nothing surprises me anymore. And Trump will sully the last institution I had any respect for.
