Ah, "Rock-a-by-Baby" -- Lewis' ultimate showcase for his scary talents.
I think he won an Oscar and a Grammy for this performance. But seriously, his best work was probably "The King of Comedy" and as Eli Sternberg on the old "Wiseguy" TV series.

King of Comedy was pretty much the only thing I could stand him in, and (from what I understand) the egotistical talk show host he played was pretty close to his true personality. My wife loves a lot of his movies, but I can't stand them; I prefer my comedy to have a bit of an edge (and not necessarily highbrow, I can watch the Three Stooges over and over again).
