I kept waiting for li'l ol' Hillary to wind up in the drink for all the paddle-boat passengers to see.
When it didn't happened I realized this was no doubt a serious performance.

I remember watching John Hartford, who could play fiddle but was better known as a banjo player and songwriter
(he wrote "Gentle On My Mind", Glen Campbell's big hit) , doing the same thing. He used to put a plywood sheet on the stage and clog-dance and shuffle-step on it while fiddling too.
