A pastor friend of mine posted this analysis of the ongoing rivalry between Popeye's and Chick-fil-A; it gets to the heart of the issue quite insightfully, I think:
No need to fight over chicken sandwiches, y'all. It's just a matter of taste.

They are both pressed, breaded, frozen, fried chicken patties between two pieces of white bread.

It's just that one is seasoned with cayenne pepper, and the other is seasoned with the tears of murdered and tortured gays.

So let people have their personal preferences. It's the Christian thing to do. (From a friend, but I wholeheartedly agree!)

We need to eat chickens.  Otherwise they'll all be crossing roads and holding up traffic.
