This chilling PS announcement will have zero effect on the Big Grifter's brain-dead minions.
Now this isn't much, but it's a start.
There are so many AR-15s in U.S. consumer hands that it makes no sense to produce more, Colt says

Re: Preparing For The New School Year
Colt makes a crappy AR15 (I am told by some I know who have them including a gun smith friend) and they cannot stay in competition. Those who see this as some type of gun control victory, well it isn't. Other companies will fill the gap.

Seems to me we've already reached the saturation point for a lot of other consumer goods, not just guns. Think of cell phones, for example, or cars or computers. Pretty much everybody who wants one has one by now.
But that doesn't stop the manufacturers of these items. Apple hasn't gone out of business, or Hewlett-Packard, or Ford or GM. All they're doing now is trying to convince consumers to dispose of perfectly functional devices and vehicles in order to get the newest, biggest, fastest, and shiniest version of the same fuckin' thing (OK, maybe they've tweaked the camera in the case of the cell phones).
And that's just what the gun manufacturers will do too. Ditch that old AR-15!! Get this new, improved AR-15 (or whatever they decide to call it) because it shoots a bigger bullet or holds more bullets, or it comes in a camouflage print (or a lovely pastel pink for the ladies) rather than flat black!!

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

I'm saving up for the civilian "slow laser" version of this M3A Laser Cannon. This baby is a real beauty.

As they say, "if optical amplification of stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation devices are outlawed, only outlaws will have optical amplification of stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation devices."
