I believe they shot that scene in the actual Texas state capitol building in Austin.  I have to admit that back in the days before YouTube I bought a VHS copy of that movie just to be able to view that song and dance sequence any time I wanted to.

Republican Support for Trump's Impeachment Rises to 18 Percent, Poll Shows

Republican voters' support for removing President Donald Trump from office is rising amid the impeachment inquiry that has escalated in recent months.

Americans continue to be split —49 percent to 47 percent—over whether Trump should be impeached and removed from office, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll released Friday.

Just to humor you, wes, I DID Google "Buffalo City Hall Raid".  I looked at the first result — a story on the website of the ABC-TV affiliate in Buffalo (http://www.wkbw.com) — and found the following information:

• ●  A spokesperson from the FBI tells [WKBW] the FBI is conducting "court authorized activity."  The extent of that court order is unclear.
  ●  The day-long raid centered around Room 315.  The Mayor’s Office of Strategic Planning includes two agencies, Buffalo Urban Development Corporation and Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency (BURA).
  ●  Authorities are not saying what the extent of the court order is or who it may have targeted.  However, an FBI spokesperson did tell [WKBW] the focus of court-ordered raid is City Hall and there were no other raids.
  ●  The FBI would not comment on what its agents are looking for or who they're looking at.
  ●  Michael DeGeorge, spokesperson for Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown, released the following statement:  "Our understanding is that court-authorized activity has taken place at a BURA office.  At this time we have no further information."
