Imagine it’s your one and probably only time in your life to have your life’s work recognized by an invitation visit to the people’s White House, one of the most venerated institutions in our democratic Republic which you’ve looked up to and maybe dreamed about getting invited to all your life.

Should you have to forfeit that once in a lifetime opportunity just because the current resident is a piece of shit who is going to serve you a cold fast food hamberder?


While I laud the athletes and others who stand on principle and refuse to accept this president’s invitations to the WH, I can’t automatically condemn those who go. I would love to visit the WH by invitation myself and would accept Trump’s invitation if extended. Then I’d try to gut him with a butter knife before the SS could take me out.
