NZ has apparently ordered 1.2 million square cm of skin for grafts. I make that 120 square meters or about 1200 square feet. With about 30 people in burns units that is something like 40 square feet each.
Wow. I understand that specialist burns teams are on the way from Australia, UK and USA.

Things like this make me glad to be an armchair traveler.
