And yes, yes, yes, there is some nutbar sheriff who claims he will deputize every (white) person, which he presumably believes would exempt them from the proposed measures as law enforcement officers. And a few backwoods counties declaring themselves gun control-free zones, or some such nonsense. I suspect there is a strong correlation with those areas where law enforcement turned a blind eye to, or even participated in, lynchings. Funny how state preemption was a good thing when it prevented local governments from enacting stronger gun control than existed statewide, but is now a bad thing when the shoe is on the other foot.

And of course police in neighbouring counties know whose vehicles to stop to search for illegal weapons when they venture out of their hog hollows into the real world. The extra funding for their policing budgets that they can gain from civil forfeitures of the vehicles in which illegal weapons were found, will provide a powerful incentive.

And the meaning of your "observations" is quite clear. You have abandoned the rule of law in favour of rule by the mob.
