I'm actually more than satisfied that the board's history has been preserved in the update. It was my understanding that this was going to be very difficult and that we were expecting, at best, to have an archived version of all our previous posts. So bravo for however this was managed.

I also love that quoting a post provides both a timestamp and a link back to the original post, like this:

I had to switch to this skin a while back because of using the board primarily on my phone and this view being more accommodating of that format; I agree it's not as pretty, but it grew on me. Most boards don't have options and my vote is we keep it simple.

Most of the upgrade features are very nice, I think.

Well, I was using the Absolution skin (dark blue, avatars on the left) which I rather liked and found easier to read. So if there's a way to make it available again WITHOUT ANY ACTUAL FUSS in doing so I wouldn't mind. Also, Hey you kids, GET OFF MY LAWN!

Although I would leave mine the way it is, I think it would be good for people to have other choices. If you don't allow choices, you are being ageist and grumpist. All you non-mature people are so self-centered that you overlook the fact that elderly people's wants and needs are just as important as yours. If you're fortunate enough to reach geezer status, you will then realize how little you matter to younger people. You're in their way and you need to move away or move on to the great beyond, whichever is faster.
