With that information, officials can then make decisions about whether quarantines and restrictions would need to continue and whether they need to be as widespread as they are in states and cities across the country right now."

A Phoenix-area man has died and his wife was in critical condition after the couple took chloroquine phosphate, an additive used to clean fish tanks that is also found in an anti-malaria medication touted by Donald Trump as a treatment for Covid-19.

Banner Health said on Monday the couple in their 60s got sick within half an hour of ingesting the additive. The man could not be resuscitated at hospital but the woman was able to throw up much of the chemical.

“Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure,” the woman told NBC. She said her advice would be: “Don’t take anything. Don’t believe anything. Don’t believe anything that the president says and his people … call your doctor.”

Well, I don't think he recommended sucking down fish-tank cleaner but at least she's learned two true things out of the experience.

I'm wondering if the 300 or so Iranians that died after drinking methanol as a cure taught anyone something. There's lots of info available. Choose wisely.

I don't claim the zinc acetate is a cure even though evidence supports effectiveness against corona (cold) viruses. It seems to block the viral attachment to cell walls.

I suggest checking your temperature when you may have been exposed frequently during the day, If you see signs of a fever start sucking on the lozenges.

Do Not take the lozenges every day as a prophylactic measure. Based on other info, don't drink anything containing citric acid afterwards.

"March 30 (UPI) -- The Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort arrived in New York City on Monday to relieve the strain on city hospitals overwhelmed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ship entered New York harbor and passed the Statue of Liberty on its way to Manhattan's Pier 90 on Monday morning, arriving from Virginia. I was referring to the media naysayers and fearmongers. We already know the models aren't reliable. Lets see how the three drug treatment works in New York.

The count down each day will relay positive efforts and results in ending the pandemic. If all goes as expected the media will be off like a pack of dogs chasing the next car with a loud blown out Mueller in their effort to denigrate Trump.

Denigrate all you want. Focus on the negative and the apocalyptic.

The US death toll from the coronavirus pandemic climbed past 3,000 on Monday, making the outbreak more deadly than the September 11 terrorist attacks that killed 2,977, but the number of daily fatalities are expected to soar over the next two weeks.

Total deaths across the United States were at least 541 on Monday alone, and modelling by the University of Washington School of Medicine predicted that deaths will number more than 2,000 a day from April 10 through April 21. By August 4, the number of people dead from the outbreak in the United State could be 82,141, according to the model.

Reported cases climbed to more than 163,000 on Monday as the number of new infections jumped at least 20,000 in one day.
