It would be more accurate for you to thank your African ancestors for butter.

'Your people' invented milk and dairy products?  Bullshit.  Female mammals have been producing milk almost as soon as the earliest mammal emerged on the face of the planet, and you aren't going to tell me that some nomadic, horse-back version of the Hell's Angels in the early 1100s were the first people to come up with the idea of drinking it or making it into cheese or butter.  Hell, even the Bible tells of the Exodus, with Moses leading the Israelites to "a land flowing with milk and honey."

I think it’s just lovely:

I never knew they were a farmers’ cooperative, that’s pretty cool!

I appreciate them not putting a happy cow picture on the packaging too, because there’s a whole lot of cruelty in dairy farming, even done as humanely as possible.

It could have been worse.

When I read '...future packages will showcase photos of real Land O’Lakes farmers and co-op members, along with the phrase “Proud to be Farmer-Owned,” according to a company release', I fully expected to see something like a middle-aged, overweight white guy wearing a pair of overalls, a T-shirt, and a trucker's hat with 'Pioneer' or 'John Deere' across the front standing in the milking parlor with a row of cows in their stanchions in the background.

How do you figure that? The cow is a Eurasian animal contrary to what some Africans have claimed. A DNA study of cattle a few years ago shot down that claim by proving that all cows on earth originate from the now extent aurochs. The African cow is a descendent of Eurasian cattle that came down from Egypt not up from central Africa. Even the North African aurochs was an immigrant from Eurasia.

You old fart my ancient ancestor did not invent milk they invent milking and process of producing butter and cheese. You just want to get out paying what you owe, you old tightwad. That will be one percent of everything you spend on milk, butter, and cheese; I think that is quite reasonable. I will be expecting a check in the mail.

You must really have to work at it to be this goddammed stupid.

Other civilizations were milking goats, sheep, water buffalo, and other critters long before "your people" ever got up off their knuckles and started walking erect.  Next I expect you to be telling us that they invented fucking, too, and that you should get a cut every time one of us gets a piece of ass.

And as for your hogwash about "your people" having 'invented' cheesemaking, read this:
The actual time and place of the origin of cheese and cheesemaking is unknown.  The practice is closely related to the domestication of milk producing animals; primarily sheep, which began 8-10,000 years ago.  The art of cheesemaking is referred to in ancient Greek mythology and evidence of cheese and cheesemaking has been found on Egyptian tomb murals dating back over 4000 years.  Cheese may have been discovered accidentally by the practice of storing milk in containers made from the stomachs of animals.  Rennet, an enzyme found in a stomach of ruminant animals, would cause the milk to coagulate, separating into curds and whey.  Another possible explanation for the discovery of cheese stemmed from the practice of salting curdled milk for preservation purposes.  Still another scenario involved the addition of fruit juices to milk which would result in curdling the milk using the acid in the fruit juice.
