"Analysts concluded it could be a cataclysmic event," one of the sources said of the NCMI’s report. "It was then briefed multiple times to" the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s Joint Staff and the White House.
Do you notice who it does not mention as having received briefings on the report? Any Democrats.
Damn, Scooter. That was for Jim. The info went to everyone with appropriate access including members of Congress like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee,

Refresh my memory about what Schiff was hot and bothered about back then.

Since you elected to catch, I'm asking you the same question. Is ABC a reputable new source?

It's a reputable news source that does not say what you claim i.e. that the report went to "everyone with appropriate access" (emphasis added). The article states that the report was "made available widely" (emphasis added), then enumerates a number of bodies exclusively within the Executive Branch that were briefed about it.

Besides which, the NCMI denies that the report exists. So how do you claim that Adam Schiff was briefed by the Trump adminstration about something whose very existence the Trump administration denies? If you want to believe that Adam Schiff knew about this report, you must admit that the Trump administration has been lying about it.

I expect a more immediate review of who screwed up at the CDC and FDA
That would be "Trump's CDC and Trump's FDA" wouldn't it?

Did Trump fire everyone at both organizations and hire new people?

The incident where the lower level State Dept. employee allowed a plane load of American back into the country w/o precautions was telling.

Protocols exist that predate Trump taking office.

Much like policies in retail stores that eliminate decisions by low level employees so do protocols. Policies and protocols enable management by exception. IOW don't bother the manager unless a situation arises that policy doesn't address.

That's supposed to mean something?

(a) Don't ask me if Trump fired everyone
(b) What incident? Source please (not Assholes Only News, for goodness' sake) but what has this to do with CDC and their abortive test kit? (Answer: nothing at all) You meant the State Dept isn't Trump's State Dept?
(c) Really - it wasn't Trump who invented protcols? I'm astounded. This is an amazing fact; protocols preexisted January 2017? Wow!
(d) Is gibberish sentence this

the impeachment farce.
I think it is incumbent upon me, as a Republican who still has his immortal soul, to point out that the only thing that made the fully justified Impeachment effort, a "farce" was the decision of every Republican Senator (except for Mitt Romney) to disgrace themselves by rationalizing some feckless and puerile justification to avoid voting for Removal, and choosing some perceived short term political advantage over fealty to their oath of office and the laws and Constitution that they swore to uphold...

As a result, every single one of these cowards now owns a portion of the blood Trump now has on his hands...(Whatever else you you may think of Pence, all reports from political leaders on both sides of the aisle credit him with doing a pretty good job of coordinating federal response; free of the obligatory Trump butt-sucking displays at Il Boobce's daily propaganda sessions, he could be expected to implementing better policies)

Moreover, every single one of these GOP murder-enabling Senators deserves to be defeated. Every last one of them (except of course for Mitt Romney; I've long had mixed feelings about Mitt, but when the chips were on the line in a way that truly defined values, character, integrity and personal honor, he came through. This will be his legacy, and history is sure to look positively on MItt,)

Heading my list of those I would like to see defeated this fall are Lindsey Graham and Susan Collins...

My angers falls heaviest on those that I once liked and respected...

Those who most disappointed me; those who hoodwinked me into believing that they were folks who actually held to some principles...

I never expected more of transparently unprincipled weasels like Ted Cruz or a misanthropic neo-Spencerian nut job like Rand Paul...They deserve to be defeated too, of course, but they just don't generate the same level of anger in me that Graham, Collins and some others (like John Kennedy of Louisiana; another huge disappointment. A man who appeared to have a strong independent voice only to morph into a Trumpist toady) do...

When you've fooled and disappointed me, you earn a special place in my anger ranking...
