It probably wasn't cool for a man to be a fan all those years ago, but I was. I am truly saddened.

My mother had this album, and I nearly wore the grooves off it during my pre-teen and teen years. I own it digital now, and was listening to I Am Woman on repeat as I headed to the polls in 2016.

RIP Helen Reddy, you shaped my life probably more than any other artist. 💜
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
