I watched the 'debate'
Re: I watched the 'debate'
They should never have announced in advance that there would be a mute button. Trump might either do a no show in "protest" or bring a damned bullhorn.
Re: I watched the 'debate'
I'm not sure how well a mute button works when both candidates share a stage. One can still refuse to shut up and shout over the other one, making it difficult not to be distracted and unable to formulate and express one's thoughts.

It could be worse, this debate could be important or something, not just a clown show.

Mute button

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: I watched the 'debate'
You're probably right, but I guess it's the best they can do quickly. Next debate (and there will be one in the next campaign; I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't at least one jerk running, or at least a jerk who wanted to spout off) they should probably use $64.000 isolation booths where each can hear everything, but only be heard when they are not on mute. A sad commentary, but a true one.
