For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Oh BSG, your post above has me gasping in a paroxysm of desire. It has been too long. That picture has me salivating at the very idea of at least 3, maybe more, friends gathering around a table in an orgy of gluttony. It has been four long months since I shared a dining table with anyone.
Thanksgiving promises to be no better. I can't blame G-d or Mother Nature, but if I could I would damn this Corona virus.

I feel your pain! I don’t yet know if my adopted family plans to get together for Thanksgiving or Christmas, but I already know that I won’t be attending. While I’ve kept to myself 90% of the time, I do have to work and occasionally shop and I just couldn’t live with myself if I was inadvertently the one to bring covid19 to the party. So this year I’ll likely have Chinese food for the holidays but I’ll be dreaming of the full spread.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Anybody notice the incongruity of how bent out of shape BSG got over a cartoon/CGI bird getting smacked by a car hood, but then comes here to post not just one but TWO pictures of what were once-living REAL birds that were bred, hatched, raised, and then slaughtered (and probably in a far-less humane way than a single stroke from a car hood) just for food?
Although I must admit, they do look delicious.
