He doesn’t need to concede. The Constitution does it for him.

Certainly no one would expect him to act with class and dignity and respect for the office or the country.

The Bangor Daily News has called it (via Decision Desk) for Biden!

As goes Maine, so goes the Nation.

Aren't you supposed to call your doctor if an election lasts more than four hours?

I had some objections to the first pic of 'Gritty' posted above. I have a large poster of Geraldine Ferraro imposed on that painting. Then I said that's ok.
Gritty now seems to be the best summation of the Spirit of Philly and the painting originally was for the French Revolution. I hope the Biden presidency is not as bloody.

I just heard from the talking heads that the late military ballots indicate Trump has lost the majority of the active duty support which was a big supporter in 2016.

That's no muppet, that's Gritty, the mascot of the Philadelphia Flyers (NHL). He's been an avatar of the city's mercurial and somewhat abrasive spirit since his, um, problematic introduction two years ago (he literally threatened the safety of the Pittsburgh Penguins).
He's been repeatedly invoked in memes that basically convey the message "Don't fuck with Philly." See, e.g.,
viewtopic.php?p=296544#p296544 While officially non-partisan, Gritty appears most frequently in Philadelphia's Democratic, Socialist and Antifa media.

My eyesight has been deteriorating. Meant to hit the edit button to add the link, but must have hit quote instead. Sucks getting old.

Oh, here's a kinda fun piece on Gritty's social media history and rise as a leftist icon:

Sucks getting old.
Like I always say to people who say they are concerned about aging, getting old beats falling into an industrial sized wood chipper and someone turning it off when you're only half shredded and still alive and now you're being transported to an inner-city county hospital during a pandemic in the midst of a nurses labor strike.

looks like both Georgia senate races are going to a runoff. Will the Presidential election in Georgia go into a runoff as well?

Do you mean recount? I believe the answer is yes. Not that it will matter. Pennsylvania will handle its business and resolve this for all of us. As will AZ and NV, eventually.

Results do not have to be certified by the states until 12/6, and typically are not completed much before then. There is always a ton of behind-the-scenes work that goes on after the balloting ends, counting mail in ballots, dealing with provisional ballots, and related matters for the clerks. That is all generally done in the open, and in public, but nobody ever pays attention. It’s simply this year, the volume of those ballots greatly exceeds the in person vote in some communities, and the margins are so paperthin, that it’s all being done with intense scrutiny.
