A legal question
Re: A legal question
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.

Are you planning on killing him?
Re: A legal question
I don't have to; all the people I knew growing are all dead now. I am in my mid-seventies and have no health issues. Waiting is all I have to do. When I do die, I think it will be sudden. I deserve a swift death; I have suffered enough in my life for two lifetimes.

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Re: A legal question
(a) what do you mean by 'I wish it were you instead of me'? Curious. What does 'it' refer to?
(b) why will I die gasping for breath? Of course, that might happen but how are you so sure ahead of the event?
(iii) will I regret asking either question?
(4) apologies for 'specific' when I meant to write 'specify'. How come you didn't answer?
(c) iii above + 1
PS thanks Econo - stoned at last

Re: A legal question
I know that leaving a rock on the headstone is a Jewish tradition on visiting a grave, are there others who do that as well?
GAH!
Re: A legal question
seing as the headstone tradition started to keep the dead from rising are the additional stones placed to make sure they stay there?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

We had one of those just a few months ago.
A friend of Doc's, one of only two B-29 bombers still flying.

My notes tell me you have a breathing condition that affects your health is that correct?MajGenl.Meade wrote: ↑Sun May 16, 2021 3:12 pm(a) what do you mean by 'I wish it were you instead of me'? Curious. What does 'it' refer to?

Why would you regret asking a question? You should never regret asking. If I am curious, I ask, no one has to answer.

Re: A legal question
Thank you. Oh, you're thinking of this: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-con ... c-20377631
Ja nie, that's corrected by this:

er . . . the CPAP, not the girl (and that's not me although if I had to start over . . . .)
Untreated apnea can cause health problems and hospital anaesthesia is a bugger (not literally - that would be anusthesia). I lost my voice for 6 months after back-to-back surgeries in 2017 and the ungentle intubations of mortality.
No, I'm not going to die gasping for breath because of apnea, unless my wife steps on the CPAP tube again. I don't know why she keeps doing that.
I'm still not clear on "I wish it were you instead of me". What is "it"????

At this point I think he wishes it were you having to explain what he meant because I don’t think he can.MajGenl.Meade wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 5:18 amI'm still not clear on "I wish it were you instead of me". What is "it"????
Re: A legal question
I do now wish I had not said anything, but my frustration level was higher than usual that day. I could explain it, but would you try to understand? And, why “cast pearls before swine”? Not everyone here is swine, so if you are curious PM me, and I might share. If I don’t share, it doesn’t mean I don’t trust you. I always reserve the right to change my mind.Joe Guy wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 6:00 amAt this point I think he wishes it were you having to explain what he meant because I don’t think he can.MajGenl.Meade wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 5:18 amI'm still not clear on "I wish it were you instead of me".
