A Black Lady Sketch Show is some of the funniest shit on the tee-vee:
I've been a fan of Robin Thede since I first saw her on Larry Wilmore's Nightly show. But her (recurring) "Dr. Hadassah Olayinka Ali-Youngman" character makes me fall over laughing.
Black Lady Sketch Show reminds me very much of the Carol Burnett Show, but without the restraints of a studio audience production.

Now that is funny. I see the satirical/observational connection to Carol Burnett Show. The mama sketches were often brutal and uncomfortable - not sure the audience always appreciated just how much. It's good to see another brave cast going for it.

Oh dear, bloody awful.
