So, with the virus restrictions lifted — or at least eased up a bit, there will probably be a fair assortment of little ghouls and goblins out and about this weekend.   But with all the various dietary restrictions and food allergies, maybe super-sweet candy, chocolate, or peanut-butter kisses aren't the best idea.

I once ordered the assorted pack from Chick and IMO there were about 5 that were “good” another 5 that would be understandable based on the flavor of Christianity you subscribed to (tho notably not Catholicism*) the rest are varying degrees of cringe ranging to the merely misinformed/poor theology to outright lies/conspiratorial.

The one thing I concluded from reading the anthology is they have got notably worse as time went on (especially ding the “satanic panic” of the 80’s) and the publication firm is now more about making money than saving souls.
