Signs of the Pending Apocalypse #122

Post by MajGenl.Meade »

Kim Kardashian, who is one step closer to becoming a lawyer after passing a key exam, posted about the case on Instagram and Twitter.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Father Ted: "Dougal, how did you get into the church? Was it like, “Collect twelve crisp packets and become a priest”?"
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

We'll see how she does going forward; as I understand it, in California one can attend ABA approved or unapproved law schools. Unapproved schools are not regulated by the ABA and (s far as I know) do not have their curricula reviewed. In ABA approved schools the first year is pretty well regulated and contains courses in the main areas of law; for non ABA approved schools in California, the students completing their first year must pass an exam (the "baby bar") showing proficiency in these areas; it looks like that is what she passed (although why she is going to an unapproved school is beyond me).
the pass rate for this is a little below 25%, and this is not surprising as I am certain the unapproved schools can vary from good to bad. After completing 2 more years (if she is full time), she will have to take the 3 day California bar; this has a pass rate of around 66%, but then this includes students from approved aw schools who may well have a higher pass rate. Most states do not permit lawyers from non approved schools to take their bar exams or practice in the state.

I don't particularly care for her public personna, but I wish her no ill will. And passing this exam shows she is not the imbecile she appears to be.
