I was cold over the weekend here. Around the corner from the building where I am domiciled, there is a very nice magnolia tree. I have been watching the buds for its flowers as they developed. Daffodils are looking good, the Dogwood, (both native and oriental) are blooming nicely. It was cold over the weekend.
Monday I noticed all the buds from the Magnolia tree were black and on the ground.
Today the high temperature was 83F.
