I'm well aware of how ~Steve is, I've posted with him for ...what? ten years? Which is one reason why I don't let him get me spun up; the real world is far more concerning. Forums are entertaining, but when Gar asks we not flame or be engaged by flame, I'm happy to remind folks of that little detail.

Steve made a polite request for G to investigate my daughter's IP against two known trolls. I should not get wound up about him not presenting any reason or evidence for G to do such an investigation.

It is not polite of me to expect Steve to do such a thing.

Non posters, no matter what relationship to "active" posters should be off limits. Only those expressing opinions, 'facts' (supported of course) and observations should be considered "fair game".
I saw the thread and can not remember the last post by Future Sailor and have no clue why that posters name was even brought up.

Lively exchange of ideas is great. I go to AA every night (somethimes twice) and always with an open mind and I am never disappointed as I learn something every night even from those I think to be "a$$holes".
I go to IOP (intense outpatient) therapy on mondays, wednesday and fridays. And while many in the group are "young'uns" they too teach me.

Don't know where I am going with this, but everyone, shut up and listen for a change.

Let me try to be the peace maker. First of all anyone who would resort to making derogator comments about someone‘s child has some kind of problem in my opinion. If Such a comment was made about my child by someone in the real world it would make me ready to kill. So I can understand how Hen and Gob feel.

But I just can not see Loca as some kind troll looking to stir up trouble. We all know Loca and have liked her for years. Has she ever tried to stir up trouble before; I an not saying she tried to this time? I believe that Loca considers the people here her friends and I just can’t see her trying do something like that. I don’t know but perhaps she is trying to play the peace maker too. But if Steve is interested in acceptance he should first consider a very contrite apology not that it would necessarily be accepted. Making such comments about people’s children in the real world could get one hurt.
