As a side note, I'm beginning to question some of the words the various games, especially Quordle and Octordle, consider to be acceptable. For example, yesterday we had 'RALPH' and 'ALPHA', and today there were a couple more questionable words — one of which had to do with phonetic spelling rather than the nominally ordinary, 'proper' spelling
(or because in the form as used it is an unchanged, lifted-directly-from-the-French loan word). The other, like 'RALPH", was onomatopoeic in nature — not to mention it's a word most people would consider childish and used by those with a limited vocabulary.
So far, they have resisted the urge to use ⃥E⃥b⃥o⃥n⃥i⃥c⃥s⃥ 'urban' words like 'THICC' or 'SWOLE', but I'm thinking it's only a matter of time.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
