Now, now, now!  Get your minds out of the gutter!!

Nude bathing is an just an example of Freikörperkultur (literally, 'free body culture'), a movement devoted to the health aspects of being naked in light, air, and sun with the intentions to reform life and society.  It exists even today under the term "naturism".

And who among us here can honestly say that they haven't gone 'skinny-dipping' or hot-tubbing sans swimsuits, whether with a person of the same or opposite sex, at least once in their lives?

I haven't, but that should come as no surprise.
Death is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.

Me too. Haven't. Wouldn't. It's a mercy thing.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Um, weren't you ever a teenager/twenty-something? This is where we'd go on warm summer nights, out in the Pine Barrens. Just had to keep an eye out for the Jersey Devil.

Oh yeah. But after six years of dodging through the communal school showers after gym/athletics/games (seasonal) so the other guys didn't get jealous, I just naturally developed an aversion. Never got wet either.
