OK to murder

Post by liberty »

I’ve been tired and not in the mood to write, but I have a duty to report this, especially since liberals do not think it’s worth notice. It must be OK to murder some people, especially if they’re White, Republican, or conservative.

Liberal networks avoid North Dakota teen killed by man who dubbed victim a 'Republican extremist' (msn.com)

Liberal networks avoid North Dakota teen killed by man who dubbed victim a 'Republican extremist'
Joseph Wulfsohn - 1h ago

The liberal media has long decried the threat of violent right-wing extremism, but when the violence allegedly targets the right, news organizations largely turn a blind eye.
Eighteen-year-old North Dakotan Cayler Ellingson was allegedly targeted and killed by drunken 41-year-old motorist Shannon Brandt following a "political argument," according to court documents that revealed Brandt's account of what transpired.

Brandt, who initially fled the scene after hitting the teen with his SUV, told police that Ellingson had belonged to a "Republican extremist group." Brandt was released on $50,000 bond.
None of the five major news networks – ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC – have offered any on-air coverage to the attack on Wednesday and Thursday, according to Grabien transcripts.
AP REPORT ON SLAIN NORTH DAKOTA TEEN OMITS ALLEGED ASSAILANT THOUGHT VICTIM WAS ‘REPUBLICAN EXTREMIST’
"Mainstream media network bias shows up not only in what they cover and how they cover it, but what they ignore," Cornell law professor and media critic William Jacobson told Fox News Digital. "The test in most of these cases is to contrast how it would have been covered if the roles were reversed. Here, if a 'right wing' driver had deliberately run down a 'liberal' student, there would be round-the-clock coverage, and we would be having a national conversation about domestic terrorism. But because it was a perceived conservative teen who was killed, the story is mostly ignored."
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.

Do you ever bother to check your stupid statements? Or do you just parrot whatever crap comes from Trump Jr and Marjorie Traitor Greene?

This was reported by CNN, Fox, Washington Post, CBS News, NY Daily News, Washington Times, Daily Herald, US News, et al
Brandt has not yet entered a plea and is due in court Oct. 11, according to court records. If convicted, he faces a minimum of 10 years in prison.

(The CNN piece is timed and dated Published 2:51 AM EDT, Thu September 22, 2022 so Cornell law professor and media critic William Jacobson is just plain wrong.)

I went to Facebook to see what was happening there.

https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=s ... 20facebook

So this guy Lorie Phillips is complaining that FB is suppressing this news. Curiously he is doing that on Facebook. I wanted to post on his thread, which is largely what lib said (the Mainstream liberal media is not covering this) the refutation with the links to CNN and WaPo as I did above. It seems as if a few others have done the same. And I ran into "Lorie Phillips limited who can comment on this post." so I'm SOL. Never seen that before but maybe I need to get out more. Mind the truth is also SOL so I'm in good company. Reminds me of my daughter's reaction to my little 'Remains to be seen' jest re Her Majesty. "You do know you are going to hell for that", she said. "Yes" I replied "but I think I will be in good company there."

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

That is interesting. I just recently bought a VDR so that I can record and watch the CBS Even News daily. I don't remember that story on the Evening News. I would have never known if I had not seen it on the Internet. Perhaps as far as you're concerned, airing the story at 3:00 a.m. is equal coverage, but I don't. I have seen enough liberal media bias over the years; I am ready to believe almost anything said negatively about the liberal networks.

And apparently repeat it as factual without making nay attempt to see if it is true or bullshit. Not much to add to that.

I guess if lib doesn't see something on the CBS Evening News, they didn't report it due to their liberal bias.

But if he did see something on the CBS Evening News, he wouldn't believe it because of their liberal bias.

Kinda makes sense
