The federal cops to arrest him for a Ponzi Scheme, the federal cops to arrest him for mail fraud for the go-fund-me project for the veteran's dog, or the cops from Brazil after him for bad checks?

I have given George Santos no thought since January 2023. But his sentence has now been commuted, he has been released from prison, and he no longer has to compensate all those people he defrauded and/or stole money from. He has not been pardoned: he pled guilty.

There may be a silver lining to this - maybe many of the MAGA crowd will finally realize what a total turd they placed in power.

In this case it explicitly sad restitution was ended, but I believe he would still be civilly liable if he was sued (unless any statute of limitations has been exceeded). Perhaps Sue might know for certain.
