As if we needed further proof of a world gone mad

My dog's prime interest is in whether or not bacon is on the menu today and where is the most comfortable spot to plant herself for the day. I often refer to her as "that black bitch" particularly when she hogs my spot in the bed. She seems unfazed by my verbal abuse..

San Francisco SPCA alerted us to this fact several years ago.

I've often referred to my cat as "that little asshole" and she doesn't seem to mind..... She gives me a smile and a wink and moves on with her life.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Dealing with my dog, I often flaunt the fact that I have opposable thumbs. "That's what makes me better than you," I tell her. They need to know their place.
GAH!

Our cat is routinely referred to as "snot-bucket", "booger fountain", and "shithead". She couldn't care less, as long as the catnip and kibble are available, and she can shed on (and shred) the furniture...

Ah yes, I have taunted the black bitch with my thumbs frequently, waving them about saying, "Neener neener I have thumbs and you don't". She looks at me with the same look that says, "Can we go for a ride and have some bacon?"

Stands up and bows head in shame ....

My name is the Hen and I abuse animals.

I own a stinky hairy little Shitzu cross (which almost sounds like an insult before I go any further) that I call Smelly Millie. I also have a Red Heeler cross (with a brain the size of a pea and a heart the size of a planet) that I call many insulting things (and for some reason usually in a Pakistani accent) but mainly "you dumb-arse dog".

I am a bad person.

Bah!

I can only shake my head.

While I love Apollo (nic namew knucklehead) to death, he is not my companion and I am (officially my son is) his owner. If he (knuckledhead) wants the companion title, then he can help out a little more around here. I would settle for him picking up his own sh#*

When our dogs can work the tin opener, then the get respect.

When one of our dogs can work out where his head ends then he won't get treated with such derision.

It's not just humans giving dogs a hard time...

Last summer I was working on training Apollo to get me a beer from the cooler, had he perfected that I might have called him my companion. Won't be teaching him that this year.

When I was unable to make it to the second floor , for about a year, my friend Sheba would camp out next to the couch where I slept and I would put us both to sleep by rubbing her belly as she slept on the floor next to me. She was my comfort and a good friend. R.I.P. Sheba.
I expect to go straight to hell...........at least I won't have to spend time making new friends.

I call my companion Stinky Farter.

Sometimes I'm referring to my dog, sometimes I'm referring to my boyfriend.

It's convenient that they can share one nickname. ;)

My family dog used to love trying to crawl in bed with me, right under the covers. Dad wouldn't allow that (if he caught us) unless I was sick then she could stay.
She must really loved me because she would budge even, when I had gas
