I Parked Next to a Tesla Today....

Post by Joe Guy »

On my way to the local Safeway today I pulled up behind a Tesla stopped in a left turn lane with a red light. The light turned green and I had to honk my horn after about 30 seconds or more to remind the driver that a green arrow means "go".

It turned out to be a lady driving and she was also going to Safeway. So I followed and ended up parking in the space alongside hers because it was the best available spot. She didn't get out of her car. I thought maybe that she thought I was going fire bomb her car or something so I got out of my car and quickly walked past her and went into the store.

After about a half hour I returned to my car and the Tesla was still parked next to my car. I couldn't help but notice a couple of signs sitting on its dashboard.

So I took a photo.....

Sign on left: "Stay Silent You Stay Powerless" On right: "Musk Is Stealing From You"

Muskla Sign.jpg

I wondered if those words were heartfelt or were simply meant to deter vandals - and if something like that would actually work

So, I keyed her car and then quickly drove home.

Just Kidding!!!!

(and I'm aware that I was likely recorded when I took the photo)

I feel sorry for all the liberals and moderates who bought Teslas to save the environment. You can't unload one now to save your life, the bottom has dropped out of the used Swasticar market.

I've already had to tow one that was vandalized. 3 slashed tires and "NAZI" gouged into the driver's door. At the owner's house. Owned by a 30-something Korean woman.

That's horrible. I can see, even while I don't condone, why they would target dealerships with vandalism. But surely anyone with the brain cells of a rutabaga should realize that those who already own a Tesla did not purchase it as any sort of affirmation of Musk's politics.

The reason that one can't sell these cars is because they cost too much, until they can bring the price of electric cars down to something reasonable, it will remain a stupid idea for people who have too much money and too little sense.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.
