I am interested and read the entire thing upon arising from slumber this morning. No lawyer me, it seemed to state the entire case factually and in a just world would result in proceedings against Trump's mouthpiece.

Unfortunately there's a typing error on page 5 of 17:
President Trump likely was particularly anxious to see Mr. Comey indicted quickly because the statute of limitations for the alleged offenses was set to expire on September 30, 2020 (five years from the date of the alleged conduct under 18 U.S.C. § 3282).
2020 should read "2025". It doesn't change the righteousness of the complaint(s) but should not have been submitted with such an error.

A judge has dismissed charges against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

The judge ruled that the appointment of the Justice Department's lawyer, Lindsey Halligan as interim US Attorney was unlawful and violated the Appointments Clause in the US Constitution.

Apparently they have six months to bring it again, the SOL doesn’t apply when dismissed over procedural issues such as this.

Next up will the DOJ appeal; apparently they have six other similarly appointed US Attorneys around the country who under the same facts are improperly appointed as interims in violation of the appointments clause.

I think Comey had a dismissal motion in front of another judge over the numerous evidentiary issues associated with his indictment. It would be interesting to see if those are ruled on, and if SOL bars them from seeking another indictment.

So now Lindsey (nice legs) Halligan is out of a job because of some silly legal technicallity. I think she should be put in charge of the project to court martial Senator Mark Kelly, US Navy, Retired, for sedition for telling the troops to obey the law. What a strange thing to tell the troops.
