A Poll Because I Need Drama in My Life

Post by Joe Guy »

It's a slow day and we've all got better things to do - BUT - quad asked me to set up a poll based on the following:

quaddriver wrote:(and of course the unspoken part, if we once again assume we know nothing of anyone other than what is posted online a rational person would conclude that a person with your projected personality does not speak to many adults about any subjects on any basis. hurling juvenile insults at cars from 101 overpasses does NOT count) <-- sadly, or not joey, you will find that regardless of interpersonal issues, everyone here will agree with me on that one

I always enjoyed a Saturday morning with the Hatch distracted by cartoons, and I always enjoyed a good poll.

How many Plan B members are there, about 70?

If 7 people vote no and the rest could not care less and don't vote (put me in the latter category, btw), quad will say that 90% of the members agree with him.

I know this is a silly thread/poll etc.

But quad wrote "everyone here will agree with me on that one"

And he was so confident in his lie that he wanted me to create this poll when in this thread he responded to my statement - "Care to take a poll on that? "

With

Here it is, quad.

Do you have anything to add?

Shame on you Joe....

You've clearly slanted the poll by putting the choice:

"No. quad is communicating through his rectum again"

in bold while leaving the other ones in regular type face.

Were it not for that, I'm quite confident that no one would be selecting that option.

LMAO - So much for anonymous polls...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

I don't think replying to this will increase yer "talking to adults" thang.

But it's pretty neat how you got the choices to highlight as the cursor passes gas over them...
Sometimes it seems as though one has to cross the line just to figger out where it is

I am sure that until now, Quad thought you had his back! :P

You had me wondering, LJ.

The 'bold' feature on this BBS doesn't seem to work, so I was wondering what you meant... :?

Note: I used the 'bold' code for the word 'meant' in the above sentence.

Does anyone see it any differently than the rest of the sentence?

eta - upon further review, I can see a very slight difference.

Are you viewing the board in prosilver? I ask because I changed my settings to prosilver and it isn't very distinguishable for me either.

Try viewing in Absolution and see how it looks.

Yes, I can see the bold in 'Absolution' - but I don't like the format very much.

Well, that's what makes horse races...

I vastly prefer Absolution; I find the other format virtually unreadable.

Mountain lion sighting reported in Woodside

Bay City News Service

Posted: 05/14/2011 09:06:54 AM PDT
Updated: 05/14/2011 09:08:20 AM PDT

A mountain lion was spotted this morning in Woodside, San Mateo County officials said.

It was seen at about 7 a.m. in the area of the 700 block of West Glen Way.

Residents are advised not to hike or jog when mountain lions are most active at dawn, dusk or night. They should also keep an eye on small children.

Anyone who encounters a mountain lion should pick up children, face the animal, make noise, and try to look bigger by waving the arms and throwing rocks.

More information about mountain lions is available at: www.keepmewild.org.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.
