Is it just me or does 'crapture' look like 'scripture' at first glance...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

To answer your question post at the second coming (which it not he end of the world) Jesus returns to set up his earthly "kingdom" which would make him King. So while calling him king is technically correct it just goes to show there's a whole lot wrong with that shirt.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

At home, counting his money and chuckling...

Edited to add;
Robert Fitzpatrick, a retired transportation agency worker in New York, said he had spent more than $140,000 (£86,000) of his savings on advertisements in the run-up to 21 May to publicise the prediction.

After 1800 passed and nothing had happened, he said: "I do not understand why... I do not understand why nothing has happened."

"I can't tell you what I feel right now. Obviously, I haven't understood it correctly because we're still here."
Which makes you wonder how someone so gullible could actually possess that amount of savings in the first place...

Yeah ok, but is it really his money now? Or does he owe some refunds?

I would take bets that there is some fine print somewhere. *Spit!*
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I saw the guy Strop referred to interviewed on TV yesterday morning, Tim...

He took the money out of his retirement savings. He blew the 140K on subway and bus ads.

I doubt it. He invested alot in this little delusion of his I wouldn't be surprised if they soon find a dead man Or If he's truly ego maniacal he just goes missing. Of course he could just be using this time preparing to eat some crow (unlikely) or preparing "Harold Campings' Apocalypse mk3: third time is the charm" (likely)

this seems fitting
Heaven's Gate [ < top ]
Oh shit, here comes morning
Another ugly bang that I dreaded coming
Go back to sleep, let the curtains protect me
Keep them closed so the light won't get me

Stuck inside, afraid of big spaces
Too much noise and too many faces
All mail left unanswered
Kicking down my door like a final reminder

I've been waiting on it coming, waiting so long
I wanna be there when it all goes off
And everything I need is in the verification of your genius

OK, but I'm not ready
I'll get up and go 'cos I feel so guilty
Is anybody there? The door's still ringing
It's not for me, just another religion

Someone selling something
I'd let you in but the house is so empty
Feed me any salvation
I'm paying through the nose for my inspiration

I've been waiting on it coming, waiting so long
I wanna be there when it all goes off
And everything I need is in the verification of your genius

Wish I could sleep forever
It's all catching up and I surrender
Clock keeps chipping at my existence
Final reminder, always there in the distance

I've been waiting on it coming, waiting so long
I want to be there when it all goes off
And everything I need is in the verification of your genius

(Hallelujah)

My favorite megalomaniac Michael Travesser, preached the 'End of the World' on Oct. 31, 2007, to his followers on camera for the documentary 'Inside a cult'. The failure of that, didn't faze him a bit. He's so far up his own butt-hole, he can do no wrong, even though he's been convicted of criminal sexual contact with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and is currently serving a ten year sentence behind bars.

Followers of an evangelical broadcaster who declared that Saturday would be Judgement Day are trying to make sense of the failed prediction.

Some believers expressed bewilderment or said it was a test from God of their faith, after the day passed without event.

I'm amazed at people who would follow a divine being who seemingly has nothing better to do with His time than playing jokes on His followers.

It's because he is omni-stuff. Can do everything at once and such. Well wikkid powers he got.
