Cafe Dartre (circa 10 years ago)

Post by dales »

There are many here who don't know what Cafe Dartre was, my apologies.

For those that do, look how far we've come (or not) in ten years time.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

I remember that place.

I used to occasionally stir Bosco as he was dissing the CSB. Many people dissed teh CSB from there.

They didn't like the Boards format.

I still can't stand that old Dartre format.

It is not reader friendly.

:)
Bah!

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I'll bet that there aren't many who don't know Dales. How could we ever forget the arrival of you lot!
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Hen is correct - we, as a collective, are indeed the products of our history.

And who doesn't enjoy an occasional trip down memory lane!

One thing that tickled me was when I scrolled down and discovered that ten years ago...

Begs the question, why anyone would keep an archive of that historic chatter.
