I loved to climb, but never got over my fear of heights, which pretty well limited what I could do!

You and me both. It's really weird loving an activity that scares you shitless. Paragliding was another constant cause of brown underwear for me, but I stil love it deeply.

I don't think I could ever paraglide or hang glide... I'd probably faint before I got to the edge of the cliff.
Oddly, I've never had a problem with heights when skiing. I started skiing when I was 4, so that may have something to do with it.
