Our website's moved..

Post by Gob »

Hi, due to technical incompetence on my part, our home site has moved four letters to the left.

It now has had a shiny redesign, is all homogeneous in presentation, and is easier to navigate.

It's still full of the usual shite though.

Anyone so bored with life as to want to catch up on a "website with a gazillion pictures and facebook wall style postings of daily ramblings" (which has a new post once a month) please drop me a PM.

Or just go to the old front page and follow the link from there. Simples.

Updated the website.

I have some great music for you this month! No, don't run away, it's not mine! It's by the amazingly talented Bron Phillips, daughter of my good friends Wynn and Jac. There's also a portrait of Barum, by Bethy's photographic genius friend "Rin-Rin".

Apart from that, it's the usual boring nonsense from me, news of my abject failures and some new photos of no great interest.

Go on, indulge me though, have a look eh?

While you are moving the web-site, could you also move the bookcase?
Bah!

Ok, anyone wanting to know the most ludicrous way of making a chip supper can now get instructions at our website. God, sometimes I'm so inept even I am startled by it!

In other words I’ve done this month’s update to the “daily ramblings” on our website.

There’s a nice picture of a horse added, probably the only interesting thing new there.

At last, freed from the shackles of infirmity, I have updated the crapulous nonsense which comprises our website.

Feel free to peruse.

If anyone still follows our "interesting" website, I've done the irregular update.

Anyone wishing the address of the website, you know, anyone terminally bored, just PM me.

You're too hard on yourself about your website, Strop....

It's much less boring than a Leonard Cohen album, for example.... 8-)

So everyone else gets the choice whereas I get the URL in my inbox whether I want it or not!

Fine!

I had to go crazy to love you
You who were never the one
Whom I chased through the souvenir heartache
Her braids and her blouse all undone

Sometimes I'd head for the highway
I'm old and the mirrors don't lie
But crazy has places to hide in
That are deeper than any goodbye

Now I ask you - is THAT boring? Huh? Huh? It's genius that's what it be!

If anyone is interested our website has had a major overhaul, with downloadable free software which enables you to predict share prices, lose wrinkles, get a more firm bottom, and perfect teeth. It also has several videos of the Yeti, Lord Lucan, and Dick Chaney’s secret Island hideaway. Viewing the site will make you younger looking and more attractive to the opposite sex.

Ok, I'm lying it's only the same old usual sh!te that I normally put on there. Go and look, it keeps me happy.

Enjoyed the holiday blog. Have a question: I just figured out (brain surgeon, me) that there's a place called iTunes (2003) and you can actually download music! Straight up!

So purchased the first Gentle Giant album (1970) - because I learned there was a group called Gentle Giant. I am now only 42 years behind the curve.

Gob - which do you think was Gentle Giant's best album?

Meade (1815-1872)

Meade, without a doubt there were two great GG albums, (three if you include the live one "playing the fool".) Though all their output has merit.

Their first, and eponymous one, is a majestic and melancholy piece of gentle prog rock.

Free Hand is their masterpiece of their own style of music, throwing in rock, baroque, free jazz, and amazing complex musicianship, with fun bits too.

If you wish I can send you, via snail mail, or via the net, a complete GG discography for your perusal.

What is this "download" thing you speak of?
