The case details Burnley Crown Court, Paul Hollands, the date. As much information as you can get out of the story you are trying to bust?

You aren't very good at it then?

I'm good at posting my sources, if I want creditability; otherwise I don't make readers dig, when they're engaged elsewhere.

Good, post your sources which bust this myth, (or tell us which "myth" you are busting at least?)

You wanted to know whether the case was valid. I gave you a link to a site you could search. I advised you to wait for a few weeks for the case updating to occur.

The link was there. I told you were on the site to go, I told you when.

It will be the definitive answer as to whether this case is bunkum and you are complaining about the link I provided?

Complain to the website honey, and not me.

A few weeks, very well. As stated, no other reputable news source was carrying this story, but I can patiently wait.

if you are a "myth buster", then you should realize you often do.

Wait patiently to one side until you have something to say then.

it would be a blessed relief.

Actually the Lancashire Telegraph is a very reputable newspaper, why would you say otherwise?

And what is the "myth" you are trying to "bust"?

The only reason that loCAtek can even spell "mythbuster" is that it came up as an alternative when she Googled "mithbooster".

It used to be; I looked it up;
The Lancashire Telegraph, formerly the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, is a local tabloid newspaper distributed in East Lancashire,

Wiki
The myth is: They aren't really broadcasting news.

Ooh!

She looked it up!

She looked it up on Wikipedia!

She found an article that cites exactly zero sources!

Ooh!

Oh god, she really is that fucking stupid isn't she?

So, The Times, one of the world's most respected newspapers is not reputable? Neither is The Telegraph?
The Times was printed in broadsheet format for 219 years, but switched to tabloid size in 2004 partly in an attempt to appeal to younger readers and partly to appeal to commuters using public transport

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Times
Tabloid, in that context refers to the size of the paper, not it's content, you silly bitch.

Once again, Lo proves she hasn't even a rudimentary grasp of the stuff SHE posts, let alone anyone else's ideas.

Tabloid and broadsheet are the paper types.

A broadsheet can be printed on tabloid sized paper and not be "tabloid" press.

Oh I see Gob has already identified that. :D

When I moved to Boston, I discovered they were a two paper city. The Globe is printed in broadsheet form, and the Herald, in tabloid form. Now, the Herald has a definite editorial point of view (as many claim does the Globe) but no one would seriously claim it isn't a legitimate news organization. And its true, the tabloid format makes it far easier to read on the T or the commuter boat --- that's exactly why I started reading it!

A tabloid is a newspaper with compact page size smaller than broadsheet, although there is no standard for the precise dimensions of the tabloid newspaper format. The term "tabloid journalism", which tends to emphasize topics such as sensational crime stories, astrology, and TV and celebrity gossip is commonly associated with tabloid sized newspapers, though some respected newspapers such as The Times are in tabloid format, and in the United Kingdom the size is used by nearly all local newspapers. In the United States, it is commonly the format employed by alternative newspapers. As the term tabloid has become synonymous with down-market newspapers in some areas, some small-format papers which claim a higher standard of journalism refer to themselves as compact newspapers instead.

You really have no idea what you are talking about do you?

No, but just posting shit gets her attention, which is the only reason she's here.

So folks, never read the Times, the worlds most respected newspaper as it's a tabloid, nor the New York Daily News, Le Monde, Sydney Morning Herald, etc, as the size of the paper they are printed on renders the content invalid.

So attention whore, which myth about this story are you going to bust, you still haven't told us.
