See how easy it is to engage in common courtesy by not posting your wife's easily obtainable name?

And where is the outrage?

@americ@nwom@n just posted the first initial of my wife's surname.

As if posting just the first initial were effectively different from posting the whole thing.

If I had just posted "C." instead of posting what I did post, would that have been okay?

Would I have managed to escape being below contempt?

Where is the editing to remove her identity?

And she does not even post here. It's not like Scooter, who posts here all the time. This is a person who has nothing to do with any of the controversies, pissing matches, however you want to describe them, that go on here.

Where is the outrage?

At least thus far, I have seen none of it.

I post what may be the surname of someone who posts here all the time, and I get ratfucked.

But vicious little bitch @meric@nwom@an, whom no man or woman has ever wanted to touch even with a ten-foot pole, identifies my wife, who has never had a damn thing to do with anything here.

And that disgusting little cunt, that walking advertisement for undesirability, incurs no wrath at all.

Posting the surname -- if it is really the surname, which is still in doubt -- of a regular poster is a horrible crime. But posting what amounts to the surname of a perfectly innocent person who has never been involved in anything that goes on here is not a problem.

Those are the rules?

If you hadn't told us that this was the first letter of your wife's name, then we wouldn't have known, (or at least I would have not.) An initial is not really giving anything away.

If you had posted Scoot's initial, then that would have been taken as is, a totally uncompromising, if rather silly thing to do.

The fact that you coupled posting his full surname, with an attack on his charity work, his HIV status, and his daring to take advantage of the health system in his country, didn't help much. Neither did the fact that it was totally out of context to the debate.

Also there was no "outrage" at your posting of Scoots name, just it's removal.

Personally I thought it was a reference to your marriage being described as being like the Rockwells...

Still, where is the editing to remove it?

She is in not even the slightest way responsible for anything that I have ever posted here.

Please edit it away.

If you can show me where your surname was posted too Andrew I'll remove that. I've searched under various spellings but cannot find it.

I don't recall seeing Andrew's surname here...though it WAS posted at the CSB (might even have been on the old Car Talk boards) a while ago. (I will not post it here.)

That may be one of the things that was posted at The Other Place.

Honestly, I can't keep track of what has been posted here and what has been posted there. I am Andrew D here, and I was Andrew D there. Lord Jim was Lord Jim there, and he is Lord Jim here. You and I and Sue U and Guinevere and Crackpot and ... and ... and ....

I just can't keep track of what we all said Over There and what we have all said here.

I really don't remember.

I do remember that dgs49 (or whatever he was calling himself at the time) attempted to post my name but misspelled it. And another poster -- one whom I respect a great deal, both here and more personally -- corrected the screwed up vowel.

If that was There, not here, I apologize for having suggested otherwise. The point remains the same: Nobody bitched when my surname was posted. But if it was not on your board, then I should not have suggested that it was.

Again, I apologize.

I guess you can count yourself lucky that one initial is all I posted considering the wealth of information I got in about 15 minutes of actually looking.

In addition to your wife's name and age, (cougar) I found a picture of your house, (not all that and a bag of chips and on a busy looking street too) how much you owe in taxes for the property, your mother's name and origin, (seig heil!) and where she lives, your father's obituary which then gave me the name's of your immediate family and their whereabouts, plus the general story of his life. He sounds neat, I have to wonder that his spawn is such a fucked up mess. Aw well they do the best they can I guess.

In addition you stupidly spilled on the board where your wife works ages ago.

Now come on let's hear some outrage before Andrew's fucked up over-medicated head explodes.

Now hang on, @w, you gotta admit - looks like a very nice pool & spa, and nicely landscaped.

I agree, though, that the location might make it difficult to enjoy any peace & quiet in the yard. ;)

One of the universal truths of life I have thus far recognized is that everyone, short of war criminals or dictators, sounds sainted in the obituary format.

eta: Doubtless Andrew D will sound sainted when his time comes, too - but I have known his character and thus I will know better. ;)

So now we have my late father?

It wasn't bad enough to bring in my wife, who has never had anything to do with this place?

You have to bring in my father?

My dead father?

Who can't even begin to defend himself?

I really don't like people posting about others personal lives on this Board.

I wouldn't accept it in relation to my family so I certainly can't accept it against anothers.

I don't care if either or both of you are aggreived about any of Andrew's posts about you, please just keep your issues confined to him.

I now see we no longer have an Andrew. I wish it hadn't come to that.
Bah!
