While looking for an image from the classic Brit movie "Village of the Damned", (based on the wonderful "Midwitch Cuckoos" by John Whyndam) for the "Bollards to Dr Who," thread, what do I find?
They've done a fucking remake...
And yes, as per norm, they've extracted anything vaguely "foreign" out of it, and screwed it up totally. Quite rightly it's got a slating at IMDB, 5.4 stars.
Can anyone here explain to this rampant anti-American, why so many movies (Alfie, The Italian Job, Straw Dogs, The Wickerman etc etc) have been taken out of context and "remade"* for an American audience.
* there must be a better expression than "remade", refucked" leaps to mind...
