Peter Falk has died.
One more thing .....
Re: One more thing .....
Shame
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”
Re: One more thing .....
That was great Strop...
I've watched a lot of the old Dean Martin Roast segments on You Tube, but I hadn't seen that one...
It's a shame, but he had been suffering from the ravages of Alzheimer's dementia the last couple of years, (it must have come on very quickly with him; I remember an interview he did on Bill O'Reilly's show three or four years ago, and he was sharp and funny) so when death came it was probably for the best for him.
Columbo is very popular in our house; we have most of the shows on DVD. I'm sure that the workingman's Sherlock Holmes will be entertaining millions of people for many many years to come...
Given the sort of decent guy Falk was, (a shame the same thing can't be said for some of his children) I'm sure that would make him very happy. For a man who derived great joy from entertaining others, the pleasure that his iconic character will keep bringing to new generations long after his passing is the most fitting tribute I can imagine for him.

Re: One more thing .....
I have a copy of "Wings of Desire" with Peter Falk.
Think I'll slip into the DVD player.
(I wonder what ever happened to that old Peugeot that Columbo used to drive?)

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Re: One more thing .....
Anyone else here see "Murder by Death"? Not many still kicking (4 by my count) of that classic cast.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: One more thing .....
THat is a movie that runs the gamut of just about every form of comedy there is.
