Buzzin the roos
Buzzin the roos
Here is some video of the multiwiicopter.com SCARAB 12 Tricopter getting up close and personal with some Australian Kangaroos.
Just down the road from us.

No laws about harassing wildlife in OZ? I know the greatest benefit of those large rodentesque creatures to mankind is the best shoe leather ever but still ...

Yes, but what does what you posted; "Tri-copters aren't that big; more like fling camera," have to do with anything here?

Re: Buzzin the roos
Ok, substituting "flying" for "fling" makes that sentence make more sense.
But is she honestly trying to convince us the guys making this film didn't know what copter they were using and she does?

Ah I don't read rubato, thanks for that.
Edited to add, just read retard's post and it makes no mention of the size of the copter used?
But still, I suppose she could be trying to make some point about something, somehow.

Tri or multi cameras are UAV's.

I'm still failing to see any relevance.

Re: Buzzin the roos
Are you stupid?
At 40sec into the video, when the camera first approaches the kangaroos it clearly frightens them into running away. At every point where the flying camera approaches them they act afraid and run away. Causing a wild animal fear and making it expend energy to no purpose is prima facie harmful to them. Most people would call that harassing wildlife.
These are large pest species, to the best of my knowledge, but its the kind of thing people like to outlaw. And really, if you're going to shoot them to make some lovely shoes out of them its not nice to scare them first. Scaring animals is cruel and stupid.

I should have said that for moral persons scaring wild animals is cruel and stupid. For others it is expressing their nature.

'Cha, the roos are semi-startled by the equivalent of a model airplane. You can see the 'rotors, in the upper corners of the right and left of the vid.
