Cricket is not known for its comedy - but fans at Lords were left in stitches this morning after 12th man Tom Hampton ran into a bucket of white paint as he tried to catch a ball.
The 20-year-old kicked over, and then wore, the paint during outfield practice before the start of play on day two of the first Test between England and India.
Keeping his eye on the ball, he seemed oblivious to what lay before him - until it was too late.
